Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

By January 1983, Autodesk launched AutoCAD 1.0, a cost-effective desktop app that could display 2D, 3D, and drawings from other CAD applications. The first Autodesk AutoCAD product was sold at Computer World that year.

In 1983, the first CAD on a personal computer (PC) appeared, in the form of NAG-SYS, a system programmed by NAG, a maker of software and other CAD tools. NAG-SYS was not an AutoCAD clone, rather, it was a standalone PC-based CAD system for creating drawings, maps, and mechanical designs for architects, engineers, and students.

With the introduction of the Apple II in January 1984, the final two parts of the puzzle for desktop CAD, the Graphical User Interface (GUI) and the ability to view, modify, and exchange the 2D and 3D data, were introduced. The graphical interface made possible CAD applications on the Apple II, which had a built-in graphics unit. The ability to view, modify, and exchange data made CAD tools more powerful, and they became more relevant to designers.

As CAD became more common, it continued to develop and evolve. New features like parametric drawing, surfaces, coordinate grids, and solid modeling were introduced, and more powerful data manipulation features, like cut and paste, were developed. In 1991, AutoCAD LT was introduced, allowing users to work with very small sets of data, and in 1993, AutoCAD R14 was released, enabling the integration of 3D CAD technology.

In 1995, the first native AutoCAD app appeared for the Windows operating system. Microsoft also released AutoCAD Extension Manager (AEM) in 1995, an application for installing AutoCAD extensions. In the 2000s, new capabilities like Data Management, External Data Tools, Dynamic Input, Web Tools, Interoperability, Mobile, and Extensions were added. In the 2010s, new capabilities like DWF, PDF, Collaboration, and Video, and new applications like AutoCAD 360 were introduced.

Today, AutoCAD is a powerful 2D/3D CAD application, with the ability to import, modify, and exchange 3D CAD data with other applications.

External applications, such as:
Wherever possible, AutoCAD integrates with AutoLISP. AutoLISP stands for AutoCAD LISP, a programming language developed by Autodesk and currently offered as an application programming interface (API) for AutoCAD to support external applications.
Run-time option is the option provided in the options dialog box to be able to change (unlock) some hidden features in AutoCAD. The options include the keyboard shortcut option, the Display option, the Window size and many more.

In the early 1970s, Dennis M. Lynch, an engineer at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), created one of the first AutoLISP applications. The ability to call AutoLISP from other languages led to the creation of the PLASM programming language and first AutoCAD compatible version. This release also allowed for the ability to use the running program inside AutoCAD.

Over time a large number of engineers from PARC built additional software. Their work is now called the PARC Object Model (COM) and allows programmers to create software in AutoCAD from other languages. This support for AutoCAD software integration was enhanced by PARC and is considered the precursor to the later integration with Microsoft Visual Studio, which became very successful with products like Microsoft Excel.

2013 version of AutoCAD added AutoLISP, Visual LISP and VBA support through the ObjectARX class library

Make sure you have updated to the latest version of the Autocad SDK. Refer to the following screenshot:

Go to File->Load->Load object.
Then choose the “Machine (DC-3D Builder) 2.0-Object (MAT)” and click OK.

It takes about 5 minutes for the software to create a file in your drawing.

Open the file.

My case
My case is this: I have a.CAD file with some linear line segments.
Now i want to recreate that file using the tools of my Autodesk.
First i imported that CAD file using the MAT file in the Autocad SDK.
So the MAT file was created before and the CAD was loaded to the Autocad.
Then i have changed the base line by hand.
I did that by using the PLOT command. And used the F2 to enter the line as vertex.
So the whole process of recreating that file takes me a lot of time, because if i would be able to use the tools of the SDK, i would avoid a lot of work.

So i tried using the keys in the keygen.
I have selected the option “Object: Linear” and the function “CAD command”.
So i just have to use the F5 to use the objects of my.CAD file.
And then i can use the tools of the SDK to manipulate the object.

And when i finish, i can save it.
But then the thing is: When i save it as the whole drawing, it does not update it.
It only changes the line segments (by hand).
I only can create the drawing again, if i select the object and save it as a.CAD file.
So i can not just update a drawing, if i save it as a.CAD file.
So if anyone know how to make the file update the whole drawing, when i create a.CAD file, that would be great.

I don’t know if it’s what you’re after but if you saved your object as a.CAD the object will be saved as a.OBJ file and a.MAT file containing all the vertices that make up the original.CAD object.
You can open the.OBJ file using Autodesk Meshmixer, and edit the vertices and dimensions. You can also use Meshmixer to convert the
