to set up your second monitor for a second computer, go to the graphics tab of the settings screen and select the monitor configuration button. select the first option, virtual or full screen simulator, and set the primary monitor as full screen simulator. select the second monitor and change the type to instructor operating station. this will set up the ios for your second computer.

if you are using control pad, a laminar research app that functions as a mobile instructor operating station (ios), you will need to pass the ip address for it to the device as a parameter. to do that, go to the settings for your ios to download a plugin for control pad or xplane. when you get the ios connected to your laptop via usb, click the triangle button next to ip address and it will appear on a line below. click on it and it will open up a window to where you can input the ip address.
