Jean Thomas our Make It With Wool Coordinator manages our booth at the NC State Fair October 11 – 21, 2018 (Jim Graham Building). This is a fundraiser for the NCSPA and the NC Make It With Wool Association. We sell NCSPA t-shirts and Wool Wax Cream, hand out literature about our association and collect membership applications.
There are several different volunteer opportunities:
Booth Coordinator – Open – Needs to open the booth at 9am and coordinate volunteers from 9am to 3pm. Does not have to be in the booth the entire time, but should facilitate smooth transition between volunteers. Covers any unfilled volunteer slots.
Booth Coordinator – Close – Needs to coordinate volunteers from 3pm to 9:45 pm and close the booth at 9:45 pm. Does not have to be in the booth the entire time, but should facilitate smooth transition between volunteers. Covers any unfilled volunteer slots.
Booth Volunteer – t-shirt and Wool Wax Cream sales, hand out literature, collect membership applications.
Please consider volunteering more than one slot and more than one day.
