The Livestock Merchandising Class at North Carolina State University will be holding its eighth
Wolfpack Roundup on Saturday April 17, 2021 at 11:00 am. The location will be the Beef
Educational Unit. Directions to the Beef Educational Unit can be found on the back cover of the
catalog.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions we will have limited space for visitors this year but do not let that
deter you from coming to the sale if you are interested in buying. All individuals attending are
required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. For those that cannot or choose to not
attend in person we will be showing the sale via Facebook live. You can call one of the phone
numbers on the front page of the program by Friday, April 16 and we will make arrangements for
you to bid on the animal(s) of your choice on sale day. You can also leave us with a bid and we
will take care of you. Check our Facebook page for updates.

Educational Unit representatives to make an appointment to vist.

The sale will consist of cattle from the Beef Educational Unit, sheep and goats from the Small
Ruminant Educational Unit, and brood mares from the Equine Educational Unit.
This sale is being conducted by members of the Livestock Merchandising class. The class was
started to give students the opportunity to learn about different methods available to merchandise
livestock. The students also gain hands-on experience through promoting and conducting a
livestock auction. This is a great opportunity to add to the genetics of your operation and help
further the education of the agricultural leaders of tomorrow.
